1. Summary of Work Completed
- The Mohawk Tannery project site has undergone a visible transformation from wooded/overgrown conditions to an active construction site.
- The initial site preparation was completed; including clearing vegetation/debris and removing invasive species in work zones, creating access roads, and developing the necessary work zones, including relocating and consolidating asbestos debris.

- Excavation and relocation of Sludge Area 3 to the containment area.
- The safety systems for both internal worker safety and adjacent neighborhood safety (ie air monitoring stations and erosion control measures) were installed and remain fully operational.
- All construction vehicles now enter and exit via Veterans Memorial Parkway rather than through neighborhood streets.
- The early preparation for the containment system has begun.

2. Upcoming Work over the Next Quarter
- Continued relocation and consolidation of asbestos debris.
- Demolition and removal of former tannery building foundation (mid–late May). This work will involve heavy equipment and will be louder than typical site activity for a period of time.
- Crews will continue ongoing site maintenance, debris removal and grading refinement of various work areas.

- Activities will continue for the construction of the underground containment system as well as material handling and preparation for the next phase of remediation.
- Start of installation of the underground secant pile wall.
Anticipated Impacts
- Increased construction visibility & traffic across the site.
- Temporary elevated noise levels during foundation demolition.
Ongoing Mitigation Measures
- Continuous perimeter air monitoring to ensure safe air quality levels.
- Erosion and stormwater controls maintained across the site.
- Construction traffic routed exclusively via Veterans Memorial Parkway.
- The work is conducted exclusively within permitted hours of each zone.

Pedestrian Bridge
- The City of Nashua has long contemplated the construction of a pedestrian bridge connecting the neighborhoods of Little Florida and Fairmount Heights to Mine Falls Park.
- Blaylock and the City of Nashua have agreed to partner to ensure recreational plans set in the 1970’s finally come to fruition.
- Blaylock has begun preliminary design analysis with various engineers to begin the permitting and eventual construction of the bridge.
